Terms and Conditions of Booking.

All information given on the website and verbally is given in good faith. The owners will not knowingly give false information.

Bookings

  • Bookings made by telephone or email will be held for 4 working days. Bookings must be accompanied by a booking form or letter of confirmation along with a 30% deposit. The balance is payable two calendar months before your holiday commencement date.
  • If the booking is less than two calendar months before the commencement date, then the full amount is payable.
  • Cheques must be made payable to John Smith or Judie Jancovich.

Cancellations

  • If a booking is cancelled in writing at least two calendar months before the holiday date, the owner will try to re-let the property.  If successful, your deposit less £30 administrative charge, for each week booked will be refunded to you.  If we are unable to re-let then the whole of the deposit is forfeited.
  • If a booking is cancelled in writing, less than two calendar months before the holiday commencement date, the full price becomes payable immediately. If the property is re-let your money will be refunded to you, less £30 administrate charges for each week booked.  If unsuccessful then the whole of the amount is forfeited.
  • We recommend that you take out independent holiday insurance in the unlikely event of cancellation.
  • If in the unlikely event the property becomes unavailable to let by the owner due to unforeseen circumstances, the owners reserves the right to offer an alternative date to be agreed between both parties.  If this can not be realised, then a full refund will be issued.

Your Holiday Accommodation

  • Normally during the high season weekly terms are from Saturday to Saturday.  At other times, subject to availability alternative start and end dates may be available.
  • You can arrive any time after 4.00pm on the start date of your holiday and you must leave by 10.00am on the last day. 
  • Your holiday accommodation will be clean and tidy when you arrive and you are expected to leave everything in a similar state.The owners reserve the right to enter the property to carry out urgent repairs / maintenance.
  • We will make every effort to ensure that your accommodation at Anfodd Holidays is in keeping with the Grade 4* status it holds. However should conditions/restrictions occur outside of the owner's control i.e. water cuts, power cuts, drought, petrol shortages etc. no liability will be accepted by the owner.
  • If a serious complaint arises - concerning cleanliness or damages for example - either upon your arrival or within the first 24 hours of your stay the complaint must be brought to the owners attention within the 24 hour period. If a complaint arises otherwise regarding the property the owner will attend and attempt to rectify any such problem that may have occurred. No recompense or dispute can be entered into after the hirer has vacated if any such problem has not been brought to the attention of the owner.
  • Under no circumstances can the allocated number of persons be exceeded. Each cottage sleeps 4 plus a baby. An extra baby can be accommodated; however there is only 1 cot and 1 highchair provided.
  • The lead name/hirer is responsible for the property, keys and contents. The property must be secured at all times when not in residence. Any damage/breakages must be made known to the owner as soon as possible and if deemed necessary pay/replace the damage/breakages caused.
  • Well behaved dogs will be welcome as long as they are kept under strict control at all times and must not allowed on the furniture in the cottages.  There will be a charge of £10 per dog per week.
  • Bed linen is provided and a change of bed linen is offered for bookings of more than one week only.  Cot linen is not provided.
  • Towels can be provided.  A charge of £3 per person will be made for short breaks.
